Completed Projects
Amphitheater Restoration
​
The restoration process went well and the terraces already had grass growing when the first snow fell. The underbrush behind the stage is cleared out in preparation for our future project of planting pine trees on lower campus, the original stone steps have been cleaned and reset.
Lower Campus Park
The same day that we started work on restoring the amphitheater we also got to work on the lower campus park. We chose a shady peninsula down in the woods and worked to clear out the underbrush and small trees. The area is seeded and all it needs now is time.
Stairs to the Athletic Fields

Remembering the Paths we used to have down to the athletic fields, LIB decided to make a permanent one. As soon as classes got out on a Friday back in September, LIB volunteers showed up and started working on the stairs. Working from 3:00 to 7:00 we placed and drove in all the stairs and were ready for the gravel on Wednesday. When Wednesday rolled around, LIB volunteers again came in force and shoveled over three tons of gravel onto the steps. We hope you like them!

Spring Projects
- Plant trees to replace those that were logged in recent years
- Install a swing set on lower campus
- Improve the trails through the woods

LIB Laundry Soap
To help fund LIB projects our Fund Raising group made over forty gallons of Leave It Better Laundry Soap! This laundry soap works just as good as the name brand stuff, and costs so much less. Were selling to make a profit, but be assured that all proceeds will go directly towards Leave It Better Projects.
​Drainage Ditch
​
With Immanuel's new IT Specialist moving into the first house on Prof Row, and the basement still leaking, we knew that something had to be done. We dug a 50 foot long ditch and placed non-perforated piping in the first 30 feet of it and perforated piping in the last 20 so that the water would drain into the lawn away from the house.
